I've been a gamer most my life. I have a deep love for Mario :)
once I got married my husband who was also a gamer wanted a gaming companion so I made a character on Diablo II and I was hooked. We gamed together till all our characters where about maxed and the thrill of Diablo III was looming closer. however like most the world when diablo III was released we were disappointed :(
As my first child started to grow and watch what was on my screen I looked for something that was not violent that I would not have to hide in the back of my closet to play. I don't remember how I actually found Wizard101 but it only took one hour and I was a life time player.
As my son grew we made him a account then my daughter and soon I had many of my siblings playing ;) Now we have a large network of family and friends who make the game so much better.
The game it's self is free to play but if you want to really get into it you need to count on spending some money. you can buy memberships that renew ever month/year. or you can buy in game currency called crowns and use them to buy the new areas you unlock.
